Who we need
Our awesome Salesforce™ Platform Manager, Rob, is looking for a talented and personable Junior Salesforce™ Developer to design world-class applications for our evolving CRM requirements on our Learning and Apprenticeship focused Platform.
You will be responsible for designing and developing customised solutions within the Salesforce™ platform. This will involve meeting with project managers, analysing project objectives, coding new applications, creating customer workflows, maintaining user roles, and troubleshooting applications errors.
You will also be responsible for triaging support cases from users on the platform. User cases are handled in Salesforce™ reflecting user stories etc. and these are important functions to ensure the free flow of the business.
To ensure success as a Salesforce™ Developer, you should have experience working with Salesforce™ CRM platforms, application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems. Ultimately, a top-class Salesforce™ Developer can create dynamic and scalable applications that perfectly meet the evolving needs of our continually evolving company. We would also like you to have had past experience in direct contact, communication and requirements gathering with senior stakeholders.

What you’ll do
- Meeting with project managers to determine CRM needs.
- Developing customised solutions within the Salesforce platform.
- Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications.
- Creating timelines and development goals.
- Testing the stability and functionality of the application.
- Troubleshooting and fixing bugs.
- Writing documents and providing technical training for colleagues.
- Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software and platform.
What we’re looking for
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce™ CRM platforms.
- Knowledge of MYSQL, Apex, JavaScript, Native, and VisualForce.
- Proficient with Flows & Process Builder.
- Lightning Component and Design Development.
- Working knowledge of Workbench.
- Hands-on experience in administration setup, e.g., managing users, security controls, and data as well as creating roles, profiles, and reports.
- Experience in designing custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, Visualforce pages, dashboards, and email generation according to application requirements.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues.
- Ability to manage projects.
- Any Salesforce™ certification would be a plus point.
- Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
