Who we need
Denise, our wonderful Lead Tutor - Apprenticeships, is looking for someone who wants to focus on teaching and learning for our HR & L&D apprentices. In your role you will be focused on delivering an outstanding learning experience for our apprentices, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and the external bodies and assessment organisations we work with.
What you’ll do
- Support students throughout their programme by providing outstanding service delivery via various online channels of communication
- Develop, schedule and deliver tutor support sessions, standards in action, cohort café and innovative lively reflection sessions (via Adobe Connect). You will assist in the development of online resources and content as part of our commitment to continuous improvement
- Act as a subject matter expert in supporting the Lead Tutor in programme development activities
- Focus on the Apprenticeship standards and lead the apprentices in embedding these throughout the apprenticeship journey
- Responsible for cohort and unit scheduling to ensure all key information in included on the Bud system for a positive student learning experience
- Assess student work, marking against set criteria, providing encouraging and development feedback in line with AVADO marking guidelines and standards
- Provide developmental feedback on activities completed by students as part of their weekly learning journey
- Responsible for the releasing of student results adhering to Arch Apprentices/Avado submission process
- Actively adhere to and promote Arch/AVADO and CIPD’s quality assurance procedures for course development and delivery including carrying out internal verification when required
- Actively engage and promote student activity and collaboration on the Virtual Learning Campus and via social media
- Accountable for students’ learning, progression, results and satisfaction. This includes completion of tracking documentation to monitor and report on success rates against set KPIs
- Take responsibility for own professional development and complete all relevant training
- Attend meetings as and when required at Head Office or other locations
- You may be required to undertake other duties required by the Learning & Development Manager, Head of Learning, the Academy or the organisation as deemed necessary as part of your role.
What we’re looking for
- A lively, friendly personality and a willingness to get stuck in and become part of a busy, high-energy team
- Ability to support diverse cohorts to achieve the Apprenticeship fully, supporting in bringing the standards to life
- A confident, clear communicator with strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Excellent team worker, able to motivate others and encourage student participation
- Adaptable, able to learn quickly and use own initiative
- Demonstrates a proficiency in digital and online learning
- Educated at Degree level, must have a formal teaching qualification and have taught Level 5 programmes
- Experienced assessor specialising in CIPD & Apprenticeship courses
- Most importantly, demonstrates a positive demeanour with a “can do” attitude
