Eva, our Apprenticeship Manager, is looking for a passionate Lead Tutor to the lead a team of HR Functional Skills & L&D tutors. In your role you will be focused on delivering an outstanding learning experience for our apprentices, managing a team of Apprenticeship/Functional Skills Tutors whilst ensuring compliance with Ofsted and the external bodies and assessment organisations we work with.  This role is suitable for a leader who is delivering apprenticeships with a CIPD professional qualification and is able to work cross functionally within the organisation.  This is an exciting and interesting role within our organisation. 

• Provide effective and accessible line management to your team of apprenticeship and functional skills tutors, dealing with all employee relations and addressing area such as wellbeing and CPD. 
• Lead cohort/s in HR or L&D Apprenticeships, teaching and supporting towards achievement of the professional qualification. 
• Address any areas of underperformance within your team as per AVADO Management Process and set OKR’s accordingly, in addition ensure quarterly reviews are conducted with your team and OKR’s set.
• Accountability and responsibility for meeting/exceeding monthly team KPI’s.
• Overseeing the effective management of the CIPD qualifications in bespoke apprenticeship cohorts.
• Co-ordinate Additional Learning Support and delivery of Functional Skills with appropriate members of your team and the wider Academies.
• Lead a cohort of learners and support with marking and submissions 
• Develop a unique and innovative learning experience for apprentices-managing the learner journey and schedule 
• Supporting and contributing to ongoing improvement projects 
• Working collaboratively with Heads of Learning, Quality & Compliance team to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
• You may be required to undertake other duties required by the Head of Learning, the Academy or the organisation as deemed necessary as part of your role.

What we’re looking for?

• Minimum of 2 year’s industry experience in training and development/teaching and apprenticeships (Management/HR or L&D)
• Educated at Degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject
• Teacher/Training Qualifications (Equivalent)
• Functional skills L2 Maths & English or GCSE C+
• HR/CIPD Apprenticeship Programme Knowledge 
• Experience of creating/delivering innovative learner programmes
• Minimum 1 year direct line management experience
