Title: Content Writer (EdTech) 
Location: UK Remote Working
Contract: 9 month FTC (until December 2021)

Who we need 
Our Content Team is looking for someone friendly, talented and hyper-focused on maintaining high standards of writing in our learning design, all while working within a fast-paced environment and a friendly team of digital learning specialists. 
As a writer in our team, you’ll help research, create and refine high-quality, long-form learning materials – for our online HR and L&D courses – that are interactive, collaborative and engaging. 
You must be an excellent team worker, with a creative mindset and passion for digital learning, who can hit the ground running and be comfortable with fast-paced project work. 
This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of designing high-quality learning solutions to meet the growing digital needs of different industries. 

What you’ll do 
• Research and write engaging content for a key range of products in our People Academy (working closely with our Learning Designers, SMEs and other key stakeholders) 
• Use a variety of formats when creating written materials – including word docs, presentations, videos, interactives and graphics – ensuring all copy is clear, consistent, correct, and conforms to applicable syllabus and style requirements 
• Collaborate effectively with Learning Designers, Copy Editors, fellow Content Writers and other stakeholders in project teams, ensuring our content is always consistent and of high-calibre 
• Participate in Quality Control (QC) of products 
• Meet deadlines set by the Project Manager and Editorial Manager 
• Help maintain and promote editorial standards for internal teams 
• Perform ad-hoc copywriting and editing tasks when required (including research, case studies, and internal/external marketing comms) 
What we’re looking for 

• 3+ years’ experience in a technical writing, content writing or long-form copywriting role (preferably in EdTech, e-learning, research, or education – as opposed to sales or marketing-driven areas) at mid-level or above 
• Excellent ability to research and write a variety of short, medium and long-form text quickly and concisely, while working to tight deadlines 
• Strong attention to detail, with an extra keen eye for tone of voice and consistency 
• Experience in using MS Office software at a more advanced level – particularly Word and PowerPoint 
• Flexibility and friendliness working in a diverse team 

• Experience in/knowledge of HR and L&D industries 
• A background in adult learning, curriculum design, learning technologies 
• A keen interest in education and enthusiasm for online learning 
• Experience in/knowledge of online authoring tools (such as Evolve, Moodle) 
Personal characteristics: 
• A great communicator, full of energy and positivity, who loves to build great relationships 
• Articulate and analytical – preferably educated to degree level 
• Decisive, independent worker with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to understand and follow processes and systems 
• Adaptable, able to learn quickly and use own initiative 
• Fluent written English with solid grammar skills and outstanding written communication skills
