Who we need

Fabrizio Conrado, our Business Transformation Director is looking for a motivated and driven Senior Programme Manager to manage a company-wide strategic programme of transformation at AVADO.

This is a full-time contract role for a fixed period with flexibility for remote working from anywhere in the UK.

What you’ll do

You will have a central role in the successful delivery of a company-wide Strategic Programme that will touch and transform all parts of the AVADO business. You will be part of the Business Transformation team of business analysts and project professionals. Project teams will consist of cross functional experts both from our team and from other teams and stakeholders across the business, including internal clients on one side and technologists on the other, who will deliver innovative solutions to some of our most challenging issues. You will be accountable for:

  • Programme Management - Oversight of all elements of the company-wide transformation programme, understanding dependencies between workstreams and how they’ll work together to successfully deliver the strategic objectives of the business.
  • PMO – PM planning, process and governance. Oversight of programme performance, collaborating with the Project Owners and Sponsors working on each workstream. Reporting on all relevant information/status updates in AVADO systems and making recommendations as appropriate.
  • Project Management – taking project ownership of select large cross functional projects in the portfolio.
  • o Stakeholder management – Working with programme stakeholders regularly to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues, decisions, progress and status. Agreeing, prioritising and managing goals across different stakeholder groups based on strategic priorities. Working with, and reporting programme progress to the Exec group.
  • Risk Management and Governance – Providing programme level governance across the whole Avado transformation programme(s). Ensuring projects are kept within scope and exceptions are managed in a timely fashion. Analysing and raising programme risks with the Business Transformation team and stakeholders as needed.
  • Project commercials and budgeting – Responsible for developing and implementing a process to allow for successful budgeting of project work and tracking against this budget.
  • Strategic Prioritisation – collaborating with the Business Transformation Director to develop and approve business/financial cases to ensure projects are prioritised appropriately, and in line with AVADO’s overarching strategy and commercial priorities.

  • Programme and Project Management experience
  • Experience working on cross-functional transformation projects
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • A good understanding of the tools and frameworks used for project management
  • Knowledge and experience with agile methodologies
  • Experience working in fast paced and ambiguous environments
