This is not an IT/Tech Programme opportunity. This an operations/commercial opportunity to manage a high profile business programme.

FastFutures is are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager, who will play an essential role in delivering FastFutures goals and ambitions, from conception through to delivery. With multiple priorities, the Project Manager plays a key role to ensure that project scope and expectations are being met on time and within budget, as well as supporting and empowering our teams in the business. Strong project governance, organisational skills, communication skills, and cross-functional project management are the key attributes we are looking for.

What you’ll do  To be successful in the role you will be accountable for:

  • Project planning and coordination – You’ll be accountable for leading multiple teams and projects, with clear and timely communication to internal and external stakeholders; this includes creating and maintaining project plans, facilitating project meetings, and ensuring milestone dates are achieved, on time and to quality.
  • PMO – Project management, processes, and governance. Oversight of programme performance, collaborating with the Project Owners and Sponsors working on each workstream. Reporting on all relevant information/status updates and making recommendations as appropriate
  • Managing programme budget; routinely reviewing revenue and expenditure against deliverables and realised benefits as the Programme progresses. Balancing short and long term financing requirements of the Programme.
  • Managing risk, clearing obstacles and creating solutions – You’ll manage risk and budget for the programme to ensure delivery against the agreed plan, escalating these risks as appropriate, and thinking of creative solutions to keep projects on time and within scope.
  • Implementing and supporting quality assurance processes across workstreams
  • Facilitating project meetings to ensure clear direction, outcomes, and actions
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders, running regular meetings and ensuring communication is timely and accurate.
  • Support to Managing Director as required

What we’re looking for  

  • A seriously strong passion for diversity, inclusion and the betterment of society.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ worth of experience within Project Management
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and project ownership 
  • Driven to kickstart off new projects, manage multiple projects that maybe at a mid-way point through their lifecycle and deliver projects in time.
  • A good understanding of the tools and frameworks used for project management.
  • Highly adept collaborator and team player, with extraordinary interpersonal skills.
