Claire, our Head of Learning, is looking for a passionate Learning Delivery Manager to oversee our CIPD qualifications and lead a team of tutors. In your role you will be focused on delivering an outstanding learning experience for our learners, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and the external bodies and assessment organisations we work with.


  • Provide effective and accessible line management to your team of tutors and assessors dealing with all employee relations and addressing area such as wellbeing and CPD.
  • Address any areas of underperformance within your team as per AVADO Management Process and set OKR’s accordingly, in addition ensure quarterly reviews are conducted with your team and OKR’s set.
  • Accountability and responsibility for meeting/exceeding monthly team KPI’s.
  • Overseeing the effective management of the Intermediate Human Resources CIPD qualifications
  • Working collaboratively with Heads of Learning, Quality & Compliance team to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
  • You may be required to undertake other duties required by the Head of Learning, the Academy or the organisation as deemed necessary as part of your role.
  • There may be a requirement to provide on call support for your team between the hours of 18.00 hrs- 20.00 hrs Monday-Friday on a rotational basis.


  • A lively, friendly personality and a willingness to get stuck in and become part of a busy, high-energy team.
  • Evidence of a high standard of customer service.
  • A confident, clear communicator with strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent team worker, able to motivate others and encourage participation within your team.
  • Decisive, independent worker with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and an ability to understand and maintain processes, reports and systems.
  • Excellent time management skills, and responsibility for meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Adaptable, able to learn quickly and use own initiative – thrives under pressure.
  • Demonstrates an interest in digital and online learning.
  • Educated at Degree level in a relevant subject.
  • People Management experience.
  • Most importantly, demonstrates a positive demeanour with a “can do” attitude.
